Come and support fifteen of our Boise State student musicians who will be competing in the final round of our annual Concerto-Aria competition!

This year's competition features works for soprano, baritone, clarinet (3 competitors), tuba, bass trombone, French horn, percussion, violin, and piano (3 competitors). Composers include: Daugherty, Glazunov, Haydn, Koetsier, Korngold, Mozart, Offenbach, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Rietz, Sachse, Saint- Saëns, Richard Strauss, and Weber.
 
A maximum of four top performers will be chosen to appear in a future concert (either in April 2025, or during Fall semester) with our BSU Symphony Orchestra, BSU Symphonic Winds, or during a special fundraising concert. No more than two performers from any one category (keyboard, strings, woodwind, brass, voice, percussion) can be chosen.

Admission: Members of the community, and participant's family and friends are welcome to attend and observe. There is no admission charge.

Parking: Convenient hourly public parking for non-Boise State parking permit holders attending Music Department events is available just south of the Morrison Center in the Brady Street Garage for $3.25 per hour.  Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted at the kiosk.
