With world-renowned composer, teacher and organist Josu Elberdin coming to campus for a two-week residency in the Boise State Music Department and Basque Studies Program as this year’s Eloise Garmendia Bieter Chair, our choral ensembles join Biotzetik Basque Choir to perform a variety of his well known Basque choral works.

This concert also features many Shakespearean texts to culminate in a newly commissioned work for Meistersingers by Elberdin, who has set two of Shakespeare’s sonnets newly translated into Basque by Juan Garzia. Join us for a musical journey from Stratford to San Sebastián!

Admission: $10 (Exceptions: Children, non-Boise State students of any age (with ID), and Boise State faculty, staff, and students with ID are admitted free)

All concert proceeds fund Boise State Music Scholarships
